According to the US Federal news, on December 22, 2021, EPA issued regulations 2021-27580, exempt residue limits of Various Fragrance Components.

According to the regulations, when various fragrance components are used as inert ingredients of antimicrobial pesticide preparations on the food contact surface of public catering establishments, dairy product processing equipment, food processing equipment and utensils. If the concentration of various fragrance components does not exceed 100 ppm, the residue limits are exempted.

This regulation will take effect on December 22, 2021, and objection or hearing request must be submitted before February 22, 2022.
