7. What is the correct order of energy and each nutrient in the Nutrition Facts?
A
In the Nutrition Facts, such mandatory and optional labeling items as name and order of nutritional components, labeling unit and rounding interval shall meet the specification of Table 1 in GB 28050.

8. When the content value of a certain nutritional component is “zero” threshold value, can I label the content as “0”?
A
When the content value of a certain nutritional component is ≤“zero” threshold value, its content shall be labeled as “0”. When “per serving” is used for unit of measure, it shall also meet the specification of “zero” threshold value per 100 g or 100 mL.

9. Can I use a range amount to label energy and nutrient content in prepackaged foods?
A
The content of nutritional components in a food shall be labeled with specific value. The content of energy and nutritional components in a prepackaged food shall be expressed in the specific value of edible parts per 100 g and/or per 100 mL and/or per serving of food.

10. Where can I find the allowable error range of the contents of energy and nutrient components?
A
Any nutrition information presented on a nutrition labeling of a prepackaged food shall be true and objective, which shall not be deceptive. During the shelf life of products, allowable error range of energy and content of nutritional components shall meet the provisions of Table 2 in GB 28050.

11. How can I use foreign languages in the Nutrition Facts?
A
The words of the Nutrition Facts used shall be in normal Chinese characters. Foreign languages may also be used in correspondence with the Chinese characters, and the foreign font size shall not be larger than that of the corresponding Chinese characters. If using foreign languages, it is recommended labeling nutrition labeling with a foreign language of Annex B in GB 28050.

12. How can I label a nutrient that not belong to the nutrient Table 1 or nutritional fortifiers?
A
If labeling a nutritional component, which is not belonging to the nutrient of Table 1 in GB 28050 or nutritional fortifiers, the amount of such ingredients or compositions added at the time of manufacture or contained in the final product shall be labeled according to the requirements of GB 7718, and shall not be labeled on the Nutrition Facts, such as sucrose.
