On April 23, 2022, the General Administration of Customs took emergency preventive measures against a Pakistani company, due to the positive nucleic acid test of SARS-Cov-2 in 1 samples of a batch of frozen squid from Pakistan. The national customs suspended the acceptance of Pakistani aquatic product company M/s. Coastal Seafoods (Registered number: TEC-65/94) import declaration for 1 week. Product declaration will resume automatically after expiration.
