France has issued a decree on requirements for foods containing plant protein

On 29 June 2022, the French Ministry of Economy, Finance and Industrial and Digital Sovereignty issued Decree No. 2022-947, making rules on the use of names to designate products of animal origin and foods derived therefrom for the purpose of describing, marketing or promoting foods containing plant proteins.  The Decree establishes an annex listing of the names of foods of animal origin containing plant proteins;  And the maximum amount of plant protein in foods using these names.  The decree goes into effect on October 1, 2022, and foods produced or labeled before the date can be sold before stocks run out, no later than March 31, 2023, if they meet the regulations in force on that date.
