Norway plans to revise regulations on food nutritional fortification

Epigallocatechingallate 表没食子儿茶素没食子酸脂
On 6 July 2022, the Norwegian Food Safety Authority issued a notice proposing to amend the regulation on nutritional fortification in food.  It is proposed that Epigallocatechingallate (EGCE), derived from green tea extract, be added to the list of non-vitamin and mineral substances allowed to be fortified in food for use as a food supplement with a daily intake of less than 800mg.  The feedback period is 6 weeks. 

202276日,挪威食品安全局发布通告,拟修订食品营养物质强化法规。修订的主要内容为:拟将表没食子儿茶素没食子酸脂(EpigallocatechingallateEGCE),来源于绿茶提取物)列入食品中允许强化的非维生素和矿物质类物质清单,使用范围为食品补充剂,每日摄入量应小于800mg。该修订意见反馈期为6周。
