According to the Federal Register, on August 24, 2022, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency issued Regulation 2022-18012 exempting Streptomyces sp. Strain K61 from the residue limit.
According to the regulations, Streptomyces strain K61 is exempt from residue limits in or on all foods when used in accordance with label instructions and good agricultural practices.
This provision is effective from August 24, 2022. Application for objection or request for hearing must be filed by October 24, 2022.
