On November 16, the Ministry of Environment of the Republic of Korea issued Notice No. 2022-642, proposing to revise part of the Standards, Specifications and Labeling Standards for Drinking Spring Water, etc. The main contents are as follows:

1. Remove the trademark from the drinking spring water products sold (sold separately in individual bottles without labels) in bulk (without binding) and allow the use of QR code for marking.

2. Adjust the provisions so that the marking items can be carried out according to the marking method.

The solicitation of comments will be open until December 7, 2022.
