Ria Novosti reported on June 14 that Russian Deputy Prime Minister Abramchenko said during the St. Petersburg Economic Forum that since the beginning of the year, Russia has signed more than 750 local currency settlement contracts for agricultural exports, involving 1.5 million tons of agricultural products such as grain, edible oil and sugar, among which Iran, Syria, Egypt and CIS countries are the main trading countries.

The local currency settlement of grain exports is a priority, and more than 5% of Russia's grain exports have been settled in local currency from January to April. At present, Russian agricultural products are exported to more than 160 countries, and the Russian government is actively negotiating with friendly countries on local currency settlement of agricultural trade.
