On August 1, 2023, the Australian Department of Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry issued a number of import requirements for food and cosmetics, which will be implemented from the date of publication. The products involved no longer require an import license issued by the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry, and the main contents are as follows:

1. Candy. The following must be shown on the manufacturer's declaration: proof that the product contains less than 10% dairy products and less than 10% eggs, proof that the product does not contain meat or meat ingredients: The product must be solid and always have the same consistency (e.g. toffee, cooked candy, mints, marshmallows, licorice, etc.);

2. Process nuts. Applicable to commercially prepared and packaged nuts and nut butters processed and imported for human consumption; Commercially prepared, hot pressed, baked, fried, boiled or pasteurized and vacuum-packed fruit jars or nut butters in airtight containers are not subject to biosafety controls;

3. Noodles. The following must be shown in the manufacturer's declaration: proof that the product contains less than 10% dairy products and less than 10% eggs, the manufacturer's name and address; Each shipment must be packed in clean and new packing. The corresponding documents must be provided for each shipment;

4. Makeup and soap. The goods must be legible; The soap has been commercially manufactured, prepared and packaged for use by those who wish to import it.
