All of Russia may be allowed to export corn and rice to China by the end of the year

SPUTNIK, Moscow, October 6, the Russian Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Supervision said that before the end of 2023, the entire territory of Russia or will be allowed to export corn and rice to China.

 

"At present, the Russian Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Supervision is actively working for the removal of geographical restrictions on the supply of corn and rice to China, which may be achieved before the end of 2023," the statement said.

 

The announcement also said that Russia and China are also negotiating the access of Russian rye flour, semolina, bran, edible soybean meal, mung beans, beans and other products to China, but the main effort is to gain access to the Russian winter wheat and barley on the Chinese market.

 

Russia's grain exports to China have reached 3.5 million tons, 27 times that of 10 years ago.
