Australia and New Zealand to approve moringa oleifera as novel food

According to Food Standards Australia New Zealand (FSANZ), on 2 April 2024, FSANZ issued Notice 287-24, Application A1294, an application for approval to sell moringa oleifera (fresh and dried), immature (green) pods, and seed oils in Australia and New Zealand as a food product and food ingredient.
