EU approved rosemary extract as a feed additive for cats and dogs

On 15 April 2024, the European Commission published Regulation (EU) 2024/1068 which, in accordance with Regulation (EC) No 1831/2003 of the European Parliament and of the Council, approved a preparation of rosemary extract as a feed additive for cats and dogs.

 

According to the conditions set out in the Annex, this additive is authorized as an animal additive in the category "Technical additive" and in the functional group "antioxidant". The authorization ends on May 5, 2034. These Regulations shall take effect on the 20th day as of the date of promulgation.
