On 25 April 2024, the European Commission published Regulation (EU) 2024/1185, updating the approval of orthophosphoric acid as a feed additive for all animals in accordance with Regulation (EC) No 1831/2003 of the European Parliament and of the Council.

In accordance with the conditions set out in the Annex, this additive is authorized as an animal additive in the category "Technical additive" and in the functional group "preservative". The authorization ends on May 15, 2034. These Regulations shall take effect on the 20th day as of the date of promulgation.
