On June 24, 2024, the China National Center for Food Safety Risk Assessment (CFSA) issued a announcement seeking public opinions on two new food relative materials, including 1,3,5-Trimethyl-2,4,6-tris (3,5-di-tert-butyl-4-hydroxybenzyl) benzene. The full text of the announcement is as follows:

Pursuant to the requirements of the "Administrative Provisions on Administrative Licensing for New Varieties of Food-related Products" and the "Provisions on the Application and Acceptance of New Varieties of Food-related Products," two new types of food-related products, including 1,3,5-Trimethyl-2,4,6-tris (3,5-di-tert-butyl-4-hydroxybenzyl) benzene, have undergone technical review by the Expert Review Committee (specific details are attached). We are now seeking public opinions. Please submit your written comments to our center before July 19, 2024. If no relevant opinions are received by the deadline, it will be considered as having no dissenting opinions.
