From July 1, the European Union started to raise import tariffs on Russian and Belarusian grains and oilseeds, as well as processed products.

The decision to impose tariffs on Russian and Belarusian products was taken by the European Commission on May 30 this year, with tariffs of 95 euros per ton on soft wheat, 148 euros per ton on durum wheat, 93 euros per ton on barley and rye, and tariffs on oilseeds, oils, and oilmeals of 50 percent of the customs value. In addition, these products are not eligible for EU tariff quotas.
