South Korea plans to revise product standards for infant formula foods

On August 26, the Republic of Korea issued Notice No. 2024-395, which proposes to amend part of the Codex Alimentarius, the main amendments are as follows:


1. Modify the product standards of infant formula foods: according to the age of infants, infant formula foods is divided into smaller infants, larger infants, formula milk for growth and formula foods.


2. Modify the residue limit standards of pyrethrin and piperazole.


The above comments will be solicited until October 25, 2024.
