According to the Official Journal of the European Union, on September 5, 2024, the European Commission issued Regulation (EU) No 2024/2197 disapproving eggshell powder (eggshell powder) as an essential substance under Regulation (EC) No 1107/2009 of the European Parliament and of the Council. This regulation entered into force on the twentieth day from the date of its publication.
