Announcement of the National Health and Health Committee on new varieties of food additives such as (±)-1-cyclohexylethanol
On August 22, 2018, the National Health and Health Commission issued a notice on new varieties of food additives such as (±)-1-cyclohexylethanol. These include new varieties of food flavors (±)-1-cyclohexylethanol; new varieties of enzyme preparations for food industry such as chitosanase; new varieties of food nutrition enhancer sodium citrate; new varieties of food additives L- Sodium malate; and seven kinds of food additives such as neotame, which are used in a wide range of applications and dosages.
 
National Food Safety Risk Assessment Center released a new food additive variety selenium-enriched yeast and polyglycerol ricinoleate for comments

On September 5, 2018, the National Food Safety Risk Assessment Center issued a new food additive for selenium-enriched yeast and polyglycerol ricinoleate for comments. The deadline for comments is October 6, 2018.
 
National Food Safety Risk Assessment Center released new varieties of 8 food-related ingredients such as rosin, formaldehyde and phenol polymers

On August 17, 2018, the National Food Safety Risk Assessment Center issued comments on eight new food-related products, including rosin and formaldehyde and phenol polymers. The deadline for comments is September 16, 2018.
 
The National Health Commission issued a request for comment on nine food safety national standards and one standard revision sheet for soliciting infant formula foods.

On August 31, 2018, the National Health Commission issued a draft of the National Food Safety Standards. 9 food safety national standards and amendments to the General Standard for Sports Nutrition Foods, including infant formula, larger infant formula, and infant formula. The deadline for comments is October 30, 2018.
