On January 21, 2022, Food standards Australia New Zealand (FSANZ) issued Amendment No. 205 to the Food Standards Code.

Schedule 29 Special purpose foods

Standard 2.9.1 Infant formula products

The Applications under which these amendments are made are as follows:

• A1178 – Method AOAC 2017.16 as a new method of analysis for total dietary fibre
• A1190 -  2'-FL in infant formula and other products
• A1211 - Maltogenic alpha amylase enzyme from GM Bacillus licheniformis
