On January 21, the Japanese Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries of Japan issued the No. 4 Provincial Decree stating that the relevant content of cellular esterase is now added to the "Provincial Decree on the Ingredient Specifications of Feed and Feed Additives", and make the following provisions while designating it as a new additive:

1. Cellular esterase can only be used as a feed additive for edible chickens;

2. The feed containing cellular esterase shall be marked with the content of the target livestock;

3. Cellular esterase can also be labeled as peptidoglycan degrading enzyme;

4. The production method standard and component specification of cellular esterase are specified.
