South Korea issued the revision of Codex Alimentarius
On January 27, the Korean Ministry of Food and Drug Safety (MFDS) issued Notice No. 2022-7, revising some of the contents of the Codex Alimentarius , the main contents are as follows:
1. Delete the tentative residue limit standards for 79 pesticides, including dimethoate, which are not registered in Korea.
2. Added and revised limits for 131 pesticide residues including biguanide.
3. Newly added test methods for chloromethylpyridine and its metabolites, and deleted the repeated chloromethylpyridine test methods in the existing multi-component test methods.
