On January 29, 2022, the Chilean Ministry of Agriculture issued Resolution No. 7773 to formulate the "List of Animal-derived Products That only Require a Health Certificate When importing". The food categories covered in the list include canned meat products and their derivatives, prepared dishes containing animal-derived ingredients, royal jelly and propolis, bacon, edible animal skins and fats (such as edible pork skins, raw beef fat), etc. When importing the above products into Chile, only the official health certificate of the exporting country is required, and no official registration or approval in Chile is required. The Chilean Ministry of Agriculture will dynamically adjust the list based on changes in product health risks. The resolution takes effect 60 days after its publication in the Official Gazette.
