South Korea revised the Regulations on Inspection of Imported Food
On February 14, the Korean Ministry of Food and Drug Safety (MFDS) issued Announcement No. 2022-87, intending to revise part of the "Regulations on Inspection of imported Food", the main contents of which are as follows:
After being registered as an excellent import enterprise, if there is no unqualified record in the past 3 years for the categories that have been declared for import more than 5 times a year in the past 3 years, document inspection and on-site inspection are not required. Clearly define procedures such as the base date of import performance for the last 3 years.
