FSANZ Revises Food Safety Standards Code

 
Food Standards Australia and New Zealand issued Amendment No. 202 to revise the Australian and New Zealand Food Safety Standards Code. The main contents of the revision include: expanding the use of maltosylated alpha-amylase in food, allowing enzymes produced by protein engineering technology as processing aids for baked goods, and remind related foods that genetically modified ingredients may be detected.
