Probiotic food and beverage products should attach great importance to the following regulations: Chinese probiotic food standards, such as the amount of live probiotics in food must be greater than or equal to 107CFU/g, and the traceability data of probiotics; Dairy products imported by China must be registered first in Chinese Customs; Type of probiotics allowed in China, such as probiotics for food production, health food and baby food, etc.
At present, The business of China's probiotics industry continues to expand, and probiotics products are increasingly diversified, covering food and beverage, consumer goods, pharmaceuticals and probiotics agricultural products. Probiotics products continue to penetrate into different groups and age groups of consumers in China. Since 2017, the market value of probiotics has reached 55.3 billion RMB(about 276.5 billion BAHT). It rose to 88 billion RMB(about 440 billion BAHT) by 2020, an annual growth rate of 16.75%. China's probiotics market is estimated to be worth 117.1 billion RMB (585 billion BAHT) by 2023, according to Sinohealth, a Chinese medical information provider.
