The United States seeks comments on the pest risk of importing fresh kiwi fruit from France

On June 22, 2022, the U.S. Department of Agriculture's Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS) issued document no. 2022-13317 to seek comments on the pest risk associated with imports of fresh kiwifruit from France, according to the Federal Register.  
   
based on a pest risk analysis, the USDA's Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service has determined that the application of one or more phytosanitary measures is sufficient to mitigate the risk of introduction or transmission of plant pests or harmful weeds in fresh kiwifruit imported from France.

Now the public is provided with a pest risk analysis for review and comment. All comments must be submitted by August 22, 2022.
