On 22 June 2022, the European Commission has published Regulation (EU) 2022/965, in accordance with Regulation (EC) No 2015/2283 of the European Parliament and the Council, approve the market of kernels from the edible variety of Jatropha curcas L. as novel food and amend the annex to Implementing Regulation of the European Commission (EU) 2017/2470.

These regulations shall take effect twenty days from the date of promulgation.
