On July 8, 2022, the US Federal Register reported that the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) issued Notice no. 2022-14682, intended to cancel or limit the authorization of bisphenol A as A food additive, and set the maximum limit of bisphenol A in food to 0.5ng/kg.  

The notice will be published in the Federal Register on July 11, 2022, and will be open for comment for 60 days. 

2022年7月8日，美国联邦公报消息，美国食药局（FDA）发布2022-14682号公告，拟取消或限制双酚A作为食品添加剂的使用授权，同时将其在食品中的最大限量制订为0.5ng/kg。该公告将在2022年7月11日的联邦公报上正式发布，意见征集期60日。
