Argentina exported 426,000 tons of beef products in the first half of 2022, up 2 % year on year, according to a report by the Argentine Meat Exporters Association, the Argentine Agricultural Information Network reported on July 22. Exports amounted to $1.88 billion. In the first half of this year, the volume and value of beef exported to China accounted for 76 % and 65 % of Argentina's total beef export volume and export value respectively,said the report. During the same period, the average price of beef imported by China was US $5,754 / ton, increased US $1,800 / ton compared to price of last year.
