This standard replaces GB/T 22222-2008 “Determination of xylitol, sorbitol and maltitol in foods-High performance liquid chromatography”.

Compared with GB/T 22222-2008, the main changes of this standard are as follows:

——the standard title has been revised to “National food safety standard Determination of xylitol, sorbitol, maltitol and erythritol in foods”;

——the sample pre-treatment method has been revised;

——the method II “High performance liquid chromatography-evaporative light scattering detection method has been added;

——the determination of erythritol in foods has been added.
