South Korea Revises "Food Standards and Specifications"
On September 17, 2025, the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety (MFDS) of South Korea issued Announcement No. 2025-403, amending the manufacturing standards for microorganisms permitted in the production of allulose, as outlined in Appendix 3 of the Food Standards and Specifications. The announcement will take effect on October 1, 2026.
