【Introduction】

Since October 1st, 2023, the newly revised "Administrative Measures for Product Formula Registration of Infants and Young Children Formula Milk Powder" by the State Administration for Market Regulation officially implemented. The measures clearly point out the prohibition of disguised sub-packaging and 8 situations in which registration is not allowed, as well as well as nine situations that should not be included in labels and instructions. The implementation of the new measures also marks the ushering in of an era with strong supervision of infant formula registration in China.
