【Introduction】
Compared with ordinary food, organic food needs to comply with higher standards in the process of growing, producing, processing and marketing, so "organic" often means high quality, green and healthy for consumers, and means stronger market competitiveness and wider pricing space for producers. The high added value of organic certification for products is self-evident.
In order to ensure the quality of organic food, many countries have established strict organic food certification standards, such as USDA ORGANIC certification in US and EEC certification in EU. Can these certification standards be used across countries? Can food that meets USDA ORGANIC be directly labeled with "organic" when entering the Chinese market? In fact, according to China's "Administrative Measures for Organic Product Certification", organic food sold in China needs to meet the requirements of relevant national standard GB/T 19630 and be certified by a certification body approved by the CNCA. Products that have not obtained China's organic product certification are not allowed to be labeled "organic" in China.
In this webinar, we will invite veteran in the certification field to explain how to get organic certification in China, including certification requirements, certification flow, etc. See you in the webinar at 10:00, Sept. 21 (GMT+8).
