According to the U.S. Federal Register, on November 4, 2024, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) issued Regulation No. 2024-25564 revising the residue limits for mefenoxam in palm oil.
EPA conducted a risk assessment on toxicity, dietary exposure, and effects on infants and young children, and ultimately concluded that the following residue limits are safe. The proposed revisions are listed below:
