On December 25, 2024, the Food Standards Australia New Zealand (FSANZ) issued a recall notice that Yuyu Pty Ltd is recalling a dried pork because the product  contains an undeclared allergen (sesame). Information on the recalled product is below:

The recalled product is understood to be Bestore Pork Jerky Sesame Flavour, weighing 100g with a shelf life until February 24, 2025. The recall only applies to products that are not labeled with sesame seeds. The product has been sold in Asian grocery stores in Victoria.

FSANZ is advising consumers with a sesame allergy not to consume the above product and to return it to the place of purchase for a full refund.
