Moscow, Nov. 25 (Sputnik) -- Iran has approved imports of poultry products from Russia, the Russian Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Supervision said, adding that work will continue to expand the list of Russian suppliers.

"Iran approves import of poultry products from Russia," the source said.

"In accordance with the agreement reached during the negotiations, the Iranian side gave the go-ahead for five Russian poultry processing companies to start supplying," the agency said.

The Service noted that "In accordance with the agreement reached during the negotiations, Iran allowed five Russian poultry processing companies to start supplying poultry."
