Amendment No. 214 contains amendments to the following Standards and Schedules and a new  in the Australia New Zealand Food Standards Code:

 

Schedule 18—Processing aids

Standard 1.1.1—Structure of the Code and general provisions

Schedule 26—Food produced using gene technology

Amendment No. 214 contains the following new Standard in the Australia New Zealand Food Standards Code:

 

Standard 3.2.2A Food Safety Management Tools

The applications and proposal under which these amendments are made are as follows:

 

Application A1239 – Food derived from EPA and DHA producing and herbicide-tolerant canola line LBFLFK

Application A1240 – Polygalacturonase from GM Aspergillus oryzae as a processing aid

Application A1241 – Pectinesterase from GM Aspergillus oryzae as a processing aid 

Application A1246 – Phospholipase A1 from GM Aspergillus oryzae

Application A1248 – Glucoamylase from GM Aspergillus niger (gene donor: Gloeophyllum trabeum) as a processing aid

Proposal P1053 – Food Safety Management Tools
