On December 12, the Korean Ministry of Food and Drug Safety (MFDS) issued Announcement No. 2022-558, intending to revise part of the "Regulations on the Declaration and Inspection of imported Livestock Products". 

The main contents are as follows:

1. It clearly stipulates the measures to be taken when re-declaration for import submit after the product selected by the Korean official as the object of precision inspection or random sampling inspection is revoked by the import declarer or returned by the Korean official for reasons such as unfinished supplements: The regional office that received the import declaration should immediately notify other regional agencies in the form of a document. However, document notification may be omitted if confirmation can be made online.

2. Added the import inspection plan for the next year's import inspection of livestock products declared by excellent import enterprises.
