The Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) published an annual statistical yearbook containing hundreds of pages of disaggregated data covering topics such as global agricultural employment, agricultural trade, fertilizer and pesticide use, and environmental and climate factors. The Yearbook brings together key policy-related information for easy and quick access.

The Statistical Yearbook of World Food and Agriculture 2022 is available as a downloadable digital and print pocket book.

The 2022 edition is organized around four thematic chapters: one on economic dimensions; one on commodity production, trade and prices; one on food security and nutrition; and one on agricultural sustainability and environmental aspects. In addition to assessments conducted at the global and regional levels, it contains detailed data drawn from more than 20,000 indicators from the FAOSTAT database (FAOSTAT) data platform, which is freely accessible, covering more than 245 countries and area.
