According to the CPV News, the Vietnam's General Department of Customs said that in the first 11 months of 2022, Vietnam's coffee exports reached 3.62 billion US dollars. This is the highest coffee export value in the past 10 years.
In November 2022, Vietnam exported 128,403 tons of coffee, with an export value of US$304 million. Compared with October 2022, the export volume and price increased by 60% and 47%, respectively.
As of the first 11 months of 2022, Vietnam has exported a total of 1.57 million tons of coffee, with an export value of US$3.62 billion. The export volume and price have increased by 13% and 34% respectively.
Regarding prices, data from the Ministry of Industry and Trade show that in November 2022, the average export price of Vietnamese coffee will reach US$2,371/ton, a month-on-month decrease of 8.5%. In the first 11 months of 2022, the average price of Vietnamese coffee exports will reach US$2,297/ton, a decrease of 3.1% compared to the same period in 2021.
From a market perspective, in the first 11 months of 2022, Germany is Vietnam's largest coffee export market, with an export value of US$412 million, followed by Italy at US$275 million and the United States at US$262 million.
Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development Phong Duc Tien said at the “Vietnam International Coffee Industry Conference 2022” in mid-December that the value of coffee exports in the past 11 months was the highest in nearly a decade. It is estimated that by the end of 2022, Vietnam's coffee exports will reach 39 billion to 40 billion US dollars.
