The Plant Protection Agency of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development of Vietnam stated that the unit has just issued the Circular No. 231/BVTV-HTQT "Regulations on the Implementation of China's Export Registration of Chinese Medicinal Materials" to provincial and municipal agricultural and rural development departments (bureaus) and production enterprises and individuals exporting Chinese herbal medicines to China.
Specifically, the Vietnam Plant Protection Agency received a notice from the General Administration of Customs of China (GACC) on the inspection of the export supervision system of Chinese herbal medicines, and the registration management regulations must be implemented for overseas production, processing and storage units that export Chinese herbal medicines to China.
In order to meet the requirements of the Chinese side and not affect Vietnam’s export of Chinese herbal medicines to this market, the Vietnam Plant Protection Agency recommends that the agricultural and rural development departments (bureaus) of various provinces and cities instruct relevant units to check the local Chinese herbal medicine planting areas and packaging factories in order to export to the Chinese market. Prepare for the registration of exported Chinese herbal medicines.
At the same time, publicize and disseminate China's new regulations; guide organizations and individuals to complete the file work of planting areas and packaging plants under the guidance of the Plant Protection Bureau. At the same time, provincial and municipal agriculture and rural development departments (bureaus) guide planting areas and packaging factories to provide relevant information at the request of the Chinese side.
