Nestle is recalling an infant formula


 On March 18, 2023, the Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) issued a recall notice that Nestlé is recalling one of its infant formula products sold in Canada because of possible contamination with Cronobacter Sakazaki. Information about the recalled products is as follows:

The name of the recalled product is Nestlé Good Start-Soothe (infant formula), weighing 942g, UPC 0 55000 38369 1, among which products with lot numbers 301757651Z and 301757652Z have a shelf life until July 18, 2024, and products with lot numbers 301857651Z have a shelf life until July 19, 2024. This kind of products has been sold nationwide in Canada.

 

There have been no reports of illness from consumption of the products. TheCFIA advises consumers not to eat the recalled products, to check their homes for the presence of the recalled products, and to discard or return them to the store where they were purchased.
