The Russian Agriculture Ministry's Agroexport Center told SPUTNIK that the trade volume of agricultural products between Russia and China in 2022 increased by 41.8% compared with 2021, reaching 7.034 billion US dollars.


In 2022, the export of Russian agricultural products to China will increase by 44.5%, doubling compared with 2018. According to the source, all 10 categories of goods (exports) increased. These commodities are crustaceans, frozen fish, soybeans, rapeseed oil, sunflower oil, poultry meat, flaxseed, soybean oil, beef offal, chocolate confectionery.


In 2022, Russia's imports of agricultural products from China will increase by 35.4% compared with 2021. The export volume of 10 categories of commodities has almost increased. The 10 categories of commodities that Russia imports most from China include fresh bulb vegetables, non-edible extracts, frozen fish, fish products and canned food, fish fillets, scallops, canned vegetables, tea , Tomatoes, Fruit and Vegetable Juice.


Russian Prime Minister Mishustin said during his visit to China in May that Russia intends to significantly increase the export volume of agricultural products to China and expand the categories of export products.
