On June 30, 2023, the website of the Australian Department of Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry (DAFF) reported that the DAFF has made minor changes to the approved ingredient list for composite products.

Except for cheese import conditions, all import conditions have canceled the "rennet used to make cheese". This change only applies to licenses issued from June 30, 2023, current licenses are not affected. The products involved include collagen and casings, dairy products, finfish (excluding salmon), pork, prawns, salmonids and unprocessed meat.
