New Zealand revised the residual limits of agricultural compounds in food

On 10 November 2023, the Ministry of Primary Industries of New Zealand (MPI) issued Notice 19550, amending the Food Bulletin - Standard for Residue Limits of Agricultural Compounds in Food. The main contents of the revision are:

 

(1) To establish the maximum residue limits of various pesticides such as mychloramine in some foods, some of which are shown in the table below (* indicates that MRL is set at or near the detection limits);

 

(2) Three new agricultural compounds, including adrenaline acid tartrate, are exempt from the formulation of MRLS in food.

 

The announcement took effect on November 13, 2023.
