On 7 December 2023, the European Commission published Regulation (EU) 2023/2732 which, in accordance with Regulation (EC) No 1831/2003 of the European Parliament and of the Council, Approved a preparation of Macleaya cordata mixture as a feed additive for all fattening poultry.

According to the conditions set out in the Annex, this additive is authorized as an animal additive in the category "Technical additive" and in the functional group "Other animal Technical additive". The authorization ends on December 28, 2033. These Regulations shall take effect on the 20th day as of the date of promulgation.
