According to the Official Journal of the European Union (OJEU), on 20 December 2023, the European Commission issued Regulation (EU) No 2023/2847 approving the placing on the market of apple fruit cell culture biomass (apple fruit cell culture biomass) as a new type of food in accordance with Regulation (EC) No 2015/2283 of the European Parliament and of the Council. and amending the Annex to Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2017/2470.

This Regulation enters into force on the twentieth day from the date of publication.
