On 8 March 2024, the European Commission published Regulation (EU) 2024/806 which, in accordance with Regulation (EC) No 1831/2003 of the European Parliament and of the Council, pine tincture from Pinus sylvestris L. is approved as a feed additive for all animals.

Under the conditions set out in the Annex, this additive is authorized as an animal additive in the category "sensory additives" and in the functional group "flavoring compounds". The authorization ends on March 28, 2034. These Regulations shall take effect on the 20th day as of the date of promulgation.
