On 7 June 2024, the European Commission published Regulation (EU) 2024/1611 authorising the placing on the market of Palatinitol powder as a novel food in accordance with Regulation (EC) No 2015/2283 of the European Parliament and of the Council. And to amend the annex to Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2017/2470.

These Regulations shall take effect on the 20th day as of the date of promulgation.
