Italian Fanpage.com reported that Carrefour Supermarket issued an emergency notice on the June 5th stating that it is recalling several batches of fresh European bird's tail clams produced by Nieddittas, a company located in the province of Oristano (Sardinia).

Carrefour supermarkets have only indicated that the product is not suitable for consumption, without giving a specific reason. For safety reasons, a precautionary recall has been issued for some of the products.

　　-European birdtail clams (Vongole cuore), sold in mesh bags, with the following specific lots and production dates -

　　Production lot 241078-30 with a May 30, 2024 production date;

　　Production lot 241078-31 with a production date of May 31, 2024

　　Production lot 241078-02 with a production date of June 2, 2024

　　Production lot 241099-02 with a production date of June 2, 2024

　　Production lot 241099-03 with a production date of 3/6/2024;

　　Production lot 241114-03 with a production date of 3/6/2024;

　　Production lot 241114-04 with a production date of June 4, 2024

　　Production lot 241132-04 with a production date of 4/6/2024.
